Jennifer Tipper Chiropractor MChiro DC LRCC
(Doctor of Chiropractic)

Jennifer Tipper, principle Chiropractor and owner of JT Chiropractic, graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales with a Master degree in Chiropractic in 2014. She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is also a member of the British Chiropractic Association. She has completed the post graduate training scheme with the Royal College of Chiropractors, gaining the nominal letters LRCC.

After graduating, Jennifer relocated and has since spent her time providing Chiropractic care to community of the Wirral. Jennifer previously worked as an associate in Irby before establishing JT Chiropractic here in Hoylake in 2017. Jennifer was always adamant that she wanted to pursue a career that would make a difference to people and her community.

What Jennifer loves most about Chiropractic, is how it benefits all ages and sizes. Everyone’s injury profile is unique and comes with different personal goals to achieve from care. The job is always rewarding knowing that chiropractic care can potentially help improve someone’s quality of life, no matter how little or large that might be.

Jennifer is a member of Mersey Tri and enjoys regularly taking part in the sport and has completed two 70.3 Iron Man events, Barcelona in 2021 and Nice in 2022. Jennifer’s favourite discipline is road cycling and she helps organise charity cycles with Chapeau Events Ltd across the UK and Europe. 

Jennifer regularly attends Pilates in Hoylake with Amanda Fryer-Harris at Bodycore Pilates and Steph Hodson at The Pilates Wellness Programme. She can’t recommend both instructors enough. It’s so important for Jennifer to look after her own spine too!

Jennifer’s biggest love and passion is spending her time in the mountains with her partner Simon and the rest of the Tipper family. Jennifer is usually found on her skis in Saint Gervais during the winter season in between treating all her lovely patients.

Jennifer will be returning to the clinic in March after her maternity leave, She will be holding her clinic three days a week.


Sophie Donaldson DC MChiro MRCC LRCC (sport) ICSC

(Doctor of Chiropractic)

Sophie graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a master’s degree in chiropractic in 2021, where she received awards for both Leadership and Graduate of the Year. She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is also a member of the British Chiropractic Association. She has completed the Post-Graduate Training program with the Royal College of Chiropractors, gaining the post nominal letters LRCC and more recently has gained her International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic.

After graduating, Sophie returned to the Northwest where she has been providing Chiropractic care to the Cheshire community. Sophie also works with Wilmslow RUFC as a part of their training and match day medical team.

Sophie enjoys treating a range of patients and conditions, with a special interest in the treatment of athletes and sporting injuries. She uses a variety of techniques during treatments to reach the best possible outcome for her patients, and she is eager to add more skills to her toolbox through additional studies. Through her thorough approach to treatment, Sophie aims to reduce pain and return patients to optimal function, as well as preventing the recurrence of injuries. She believes this, as well as encouraging patients to take an active role in their recovery, is vital to maintaining both physical and mental health.

Outside of work Sophie enjoys baking and following a range of sports, in particular Rugby Union and Netball, so lots to watch this year!


Luke Monaghan Mchiro DC

(Doctor of Chiropractic)

Luke is a graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and a registered chiropractor with the General Chiropractic Council and also a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

Luke is local to Merseyside having grown up in Southport and attended school in Liverpool. Outside of chiropractic, Luke is a keen sportsman, who regularly plays both rugby union & rugby league for whom he represented Ireland at u19s. A regular for Southport rugby club who will be involved heavily with their community rugby injury management (CRISP). During the summer months he participates in water sports and both mountain & road cycling.  

Luke has gained a wide variety of experience treating conditions through working with patients from many backgrounds including extreme sport athletes & runners.Luke has gained a vast background knowledge and understanding from his father, who has practised as a physiotherapist for many years. Luke is passionate about each patient being treated as an individual in a manner they feel comfortable to achieve their goals for treatment. 


Sports Therapist

Matt Scott, Sports Massage Therapist – VTCT in Sports Massage Levels 3 and 4

Matt is currently studying part-time for a further qualification in Sport Therapy at Edge Hill University. Matt has previous experience as a Sports Massage Therapist working for a local amateur football team. Prior to the Covid pandemic, Matt ran his own sports massage clinic. These roles have provided Matt with a vast array of knowledge and experience both in practicing and treating a wide range of patients.

Outside of work, you’ll find Matt playing 7 a-side football in a midweek team!

MSK Ultrasound Practitioner

Paul McDermott (BSc (Hons) Physio/PgCert MSK Ultrasound Imaging)

After qualifying from the University of Salford in 1997, Paul worked between Arrowe Park & Clatterbridge hospitals for 6 years. He then worked within private practice and sport settings for a few years, before getting to work in Germany, Yorkshire & Edinburgh for the MoD.

For the past few years Paul has returned to the NHS, while completing postgraduate training in MSK ultrasound imaging with the University of Essex. He is interested in using ultrasound imaging to assist with MSK diagnosis and combining it with the injection therapy training he is completing with Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

Reception

Christine Norris

Christine has worked within admin and office environments for over 25 years. She enjoys travelling and visiting new places with her family. In her spare time she enjoys Pilates, swimming and keeping fit.


Gemma John

Gemma’s Background is in luxury retail. She has been a patient of Jen’s for over 6 years with first hand experience of just how much the clinic has to offer. She particularly benefited from seeing Jen through two of her pregnancies and highly recommends chiropractic support through this time. Gemma believes in the power of healthy living and strives to keep her body fit and healthy. She has an interest in the gut micro biome and nutrition which translates into her attempts at cooking nutritious foods for her family.
