Failing to turn up for an appointment or not giving the clinic at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment has an adverse effect on other patients and the smooth running of the clinic. It leads to:

– An increase in the waiting time for appointments
– Frustration for patients who require emergency appointments at short notice

In an attempt to try and resolve this, JT Chiropractic has in place the following policy:

New Client and Reassessment Deposit Policy

In order to secure your appointment, we require 50% deposit to be paid at the time of booking or if booked on-line payment is made via our booking system.

The deposit may be paid by debit or credit card over the phone or in the clinic by debit card, credit card. At this present time we are not accepting cash payments.

Please note no card details are stored at the clinic, payment details are entered straight into our clover machine to authorise payment. A receipt can be emailed or texted immediately after.

The deposit is held against your booking as a credit towards that appointment.

If cancellation is made with more than 24 hours notice, the deposit is refunded or forwarded to the new appointment time.

If cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, the deposit is forfeited as a late cancellation fee.

If you simply do not show up to a booked appointment, the deposit is forfeited as a no-show fee. You will not be able to make any future appointments without payment in FULL at the time of booking.

December Bookings

All appointments booked for the month of December will be subject to a £10 deposit policy.  At the time of booking we will require you to pay £10 by credit or debit card to secure your booking.  If you do not show up to your appointment or cancel your appointment without giving us the necessary 24 hour notice, the deposit will be retained for the late cancellation fee – please see Late Cancellation Policy.
