To provide you the very best care and protection, we monitor closely the information from the UK government, the NHS, the General Chiropractic Council, the British Chiropractic Association, and the Royal College of Chiropractors.

  • On the evening of March 23rd, 2020, we took the decision to close JT Chiropractic.
  • We partially re-opened as of 2nd June 2020, for urgent cases only.
  • We further re-opened from 16th June 2020 (Tuesday-Friday) for all Chiropractic services, whether it be urgent or routine.
  • We are now fully back open from Monday 20th July, with Sports Massage Therapy clinics returning from Wednesday 22ndJuly. Throughout August Sports Massage clinics will be held every Wednesday.
  • Check if you have coronavirus symptoms – Coronavirus (COVID-19). If you have symptoms, please do not attend the clinic, instead ring 111 for advice.
  • Prior to attendance of every appointment there will be a mandatory COVID-19 form attached in your email or text reminder to fill in.
  • On attendance to the clinic: you must wash your hands and use anti-bacterial hand gel upon arrival. We will use single use paper towels and diligently disinfect all contact points and areas possibly exposed in treatment rooms between patients.
  • All gowns and towels have been removed from clinic. Please wear appropriate clothing for treatment.
  • All practitioners will wear PPE consistent with government and our professional governing body’s advice, regularly wash their hands and monitor/protect their own, and their household’s health.
  • All patients are advised to attend wearing a mask to protect their own, and their household’s health.
  • During June and July, we reduced patient scheduling and arranged social distancing between patients. Face-to-face appointments had 10 minutes added on to the appointment, as the clinic had a ‘one in one out’ policy. We only allowed one patient in the building at any given time with our one-way system, which reduced the risk of passing another patient.
  • As of August, we will return to normal appointment times, but will continue to limit the number of customers to two in the clinic at any given time. Therefore, we will only ever have one customer in the waiting area and one in the treatment room, which enables us to continue safely with social distancing.
  • Please attend alone and only enter the building from our side entrance at the time of your appointment.  We have an outside courtyard, where our side entrance is located. During June and July, we asked customers to politely wait outside at the marked 2m distance lines, until the practitioner collected them.
  • As of August, we still ask you to please attend alone and to still use our side entrance, which immediately brings you into the ‘original waiting area’. Here we can now invite the next customer to sit and wait after using the sink by the entrance for handwashing.
  • Please continue to minimise the belongings you bring with you to the clinic. Any necessary belongings, such as your phone and keys, will need to be stored in the disinfected plastic basket provided on entry.
  • We will only be taking electronic payments; we will not be accepting cash.  We ask that you please use the card machine, located at the front desk, for contactless payment. The online booking with payment system or telephone pre-payment if still available to use if you prefer. Afterwards, you will be asked to leave as soon as possible via the front door.
  • The receptionists in the clinic returned in July, they will be wearing a mask and will be sat behind a protective screen at their front desk. They are available during clinical hours to help organise your appointments and take electronic payments.
  • Our ‘at risk’/vulnerable patients (pregnant, over 70, health condition, weakened immune system) were urged not to attend the clinic and to only seek telephone advice from us. As of August, shielding ends and we welcome these patients to return to clinic. However, if you do require face to face care, please contact us so we can make special arrangements for you to have minimal possible contact and exposure.
  • While we are taking every precaution to limit your exposure to coronavirus, we cannot guarantee that there is no risk as a result of attending our clinic for treatment. We will request and record your verbal consent in your treatment notes.
