To provide you the very best care and protection, we monitor closely the information from the UK government, the NHS, the General Chiropractic Council, the British Chiropractic Association, and the Royal College of Chiropractors.

  • On the evening of March 23rd 2020, we took the decision to close JT Chiropractic, all reception staff are currently on furlough. Please see Coronavirus (COVID-19): what you need to do. We have plans for limited re-opening as of 2nd June 2020, please ring for details.
  • We are offering remote FREE telephone consultations for new or returning patients, in the form of education and advice on posture/ergonomics/exercise, with effective evidence-based self-care.
  • Check if you have coronavirus symptoms – Coronavirus (COVID-19). If you have symptoms, please do not attend the clinic, instead ring 111 for advice.
  • Face-to-face appointments will resume as of 2nd June 2020 for *emergency cases* only, these will be screened via a telephone appointment.
  • Face-to-face appointments in clinic will be:
  • Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning after a screening telephone appointment Tuesday morning.
  • Thursday afternoon and Friday morning after a screening telephone appointment Thursday morning.
  • When we re-open: we will offer handwashing and/or anti-bacterial hand gel upon arrival. We will use single use paper towels and diligently disinfect all contact points and areas possibly exposed in treatment rooms between patients.
  • All gowns and towels have been removed from clinic. Please wear appropriate clothing for treatment.
  • All practitioners will wear PPE consistent with government advice, regularly wash their hands and monitor/protect their own, and their household’s health.
  • All patients are advised to attend wearing a mask, must wash their hands upon arrival and monitor/protect their own, and their household’s health.
  • We will reduce patient scheduling and arrange social distancing between patients. Face-to-face appointments will be scheduled into every other appointment, as the clinic will have a ‘one in one out’ policy. We will only allow one patient in the building at any given time with our one-way system, which reduces the risk of passing another patient.
  • Please attend alone and only enter the building from our side entrance at the time of your appointment.  We have an outside courtyard, where our side entrance is located, please wait here at the marked 2m distance lines until your practitioner collects you. The side entrance will bring you immediately into the ‘original waiting area’ where the sink for handwashing and hand gel is located.
  • We ask that you please use the online pre-payment, we will not be accepting cash. The card machine will be located at the front desk by the front door for contactless payment if you are unable to pre-pay, however we please strongly advise you to pre-pay as reduces unnecessary time spent in clinic. Afterwards, you will be asked to leave as soon as possible via the front door.
  • There will be no receptionists in the clinic, reducing unnecessary risk. All reception staff will remain furloughed. The phone will be monitored outside of the clinic hours.
  • Sports massage clinics are currently unavailable and we will re-open these again in the future when The Society of Sports Massage says it’s safe to do so.
  • Our ‘at risk’ patients (pregnant, over 70, health condition, weakened immune system) are urged not to attend the clinic and to only seek telephone advice from us. If you do require face to face care, we will make special arrangements for you to have minimal possible contact and exposure.
  •  While we are taking every precaution to limit your exposure to coronavirus, we cannot guarantee that there is no risk as a result of attending our clinic for treatment. We will request and record your verbal consent in your treatment notes.
